N.B.
It is not an academic course.
It is meant to provide you with the tools you need to master 80% of the
French language as it is used nowadays.
Most methods promise that after an hour you are already
able to greet your neighbors and to order a coffee. It is very gratifying...
at first. But we all know how it turns in the end.
I want you to be able to [verb] + [anyone/anything], whatever the verb
and the complement.
Consider it a construction set.
Too many methods teach you THE sentence you need in THE given circumstance.
Better you get the bricks and build yourself what you need in any circumstance.
I don't want you to learn sentences. Not only there is no end to learning
sentences, but native speakers do not learn sentences.
Most sentences people say are said for the first time.
When you join my students, you become a language builder.
I provide you with the tools and the materials. You build YOUR sentences,
you don't learn any prefab ones.
It's not a course for the faint of heart!
It is a course for
people
in a hurry,
people
who want a quick pay raise,
people
who need to dramatically improve their situation, be it professional or
educational.
It
is not a course that leaves you time to work your tan.
You are online 4 or 5 hours a day -depending on the formula you choose.
You are not able to avoid learning, even if you want to.
When you are offline, you are not off work. You have researches to do,
castles to visit, masterpieces of art to admire, songs to listen to, texts
to read, etc.
It is almost a French stay. It is the way you should see it.
To get by with French in 40 hours requires you live in a French environment.
We start with a simple sentence; it is your first
French brick in your mother tongue site. It is a simple sentence, but
rich enough for you to start learning some basics.
We gradually enrich the first sentence, making it a full story. At the
end of the story, you master 80% of the French basics like a native speaker.
The vocabulary I use to teach is the commonest one: the words and notions that appear in everyday life. Each student has to look for the vocabulary they need in their own field of activity. If you are a doctor, I'm afraid you will not learn more than 'I am ill', or 'I have a headache', or 'I broke my leg' in respect of your domain.
Free sessions will be organized for pronunciation
training during the weeks that preceed the
webinar.
