You can put the stress on the subject by adding a detached pronoun.

The elements of a clause make all the same agreement.
Frère is a masculine noun.
It goes with le, un, mon and masculine adjectives like
grand, petit.
Soeur is a feminine noun. It goes
with la, une, ma and grande or petite.
If the feminine noun soeur is used in the plural, all
the elements are feminine and plural: soeurs goes with
les, des, grandes, petites.
