The Subjunctive used to replace the Imperative

The video is about the subjunctive and how it can replace the Imperative.

The Imperative is a mood that has only 3 persons: the first person of the plural (nous), the second person of the singular and of the plural (tu and vous).
When you need the meanings of the Imperative with other persons, you use the Subjunctive.

The most famous use of the subjunctive as an imperative appears in the verse of the Bible: "Que la lumière soit!"
Soit is the subjunctive of the verb être, but it is truly an order that God is giving.
