Faire et faire faire

"Today while I was reading an article ,I encountered a sentence like this:
sentence 1: Elle me fait chanter une chanson.
And suddenly another similiar sentence came into my mind:
sentence 2: Elle me fait chanter.
I am confused about the two sentences. In sentence 1, who sings the 'chanson'? Me or some other one?
And in sentence 2, who sings? Me ?
The usage of 'faire' really puzzles me a lot.
I would appreciate if you could help me with this."

Sentence 1: she is a choral director and leads me when I sing. 'I' is the person who sings.
Sentence 2: she blackmails me. No-one actually sings, but the blackmailer 'leads' in some way.

About faire: I am going to prepare a second video.
