Out of the hole... but when?

We hear that China is recovering. Who's buying?
How long will China need to retool her economy for domestic consumption? Maybe the time it will take for the American consumer to pay down his debt.
Do the math. The savings have gone up to $700 billion per year. Yet, the excess debt alone is between $20 and $30 TRILLION. At a 5% saving rate, it could take 40 years to pay it down... if the feds were not borrowing more than ever!
